This weekend my best friend and I road-tripped to Port Aransas, Texas where my parents threw the most incredible homecoming party! With the generous help of our friends and family I was warmly welcomed back home to Texas after a three year stay in Savannah, Georgia. I couldn’t have asked for anything more; it was perfect. A big thank you to everyone for making my day so tremendously special!

So excited to hear this man tell me his story during my drive back to Texas. Mr. Steve Martin, you’re a fox.

I took a bit of a hiatus to focus on what are to be my last finals as an undergrad student at the Savannah College of Art and Design. Things are about to get really tumultuous, exciting, and sad…but mostly exciting around here. On Tuesday I will officially be a SCAD graduate and I couldn’t be happier. I’ve only ever ventured out for a few weeks at a time here and there, so naturally I have decided to release my shell for the time being and explore the area around me for a few days before I leave. For the next week or so I’ll be posting snippets of my final adventures in Savannah, Georgia and my journey back to the Lone Star State accompanied by another fantastic illustrator, Kenton Visser. I’ll try and post a piece here and there as they come to a close, but count on returning to regularly scheduled programming in about two to three weeks.

(1. Vintage olive suede shoes that I gifted to myself for my final week of school. 2. The beautiful view from my living room window on Jones Street. 3. My dear couch that my dear friend Krystal will be adopting. 4. Inspiring words. 5. My studio space…mid finals. 6. My mom is going to be so embarrassed. 7&8. Dali has been so patient despite all the chaos.)
